Worlds Open preview - Men 93kg & 105kg

Getting into the most popular weight classes in powerlifting, the 93kg and 105kg is looking

like there is going to be battles everywhere!

In the 93kg class old rivals will face off once again, both team mates from Ukraine, the 4 x World Open Champion Mikhaylo Bulanyy goes against Sergii Bilyi! Bilyi is a 2 x World Junior Champion and European Champion,

for the past few years he came within an inch of taking the World Championship from team mate Bulanyy....

will he take it this year at the foot of the Rocky Mountains? But they are not alone, just behind them is 2 Russians,

Sergey Mashintcov and Dmitry Inzarkan, both with 970kg entry weights. Also the World Junior Champion

The 105kg class might be the closest battle at the World Open Powerlifting Championships.

The 2013 World Games Champion, World Open Champion and WR holder in the bench press (328kg)

Vadym Dovganyuk (Ukraine) will go head-to-head against 2 of Russia's strongest,

former World Junior Champion and Classic World Champion, Yury Belkin. With a

massive entry of 417.5kg squat entry this is one lifter to watch! Then there is Konstantin Lebedko,

who is going out to finally win the one Championship he has not won since 2009, the one Championship

where he came inches to win year after year, the Russian bear is here to see if he can finally be called the

BEST in the world! There is only a difference of 10.5kg between these 3 athletes! Watch this battle coming
